Albion 16 Series Wheel Styles
Albion manufactures wheels to fit almost all needs, including polyurethane, rubber, metal, nylon, phenolic, and polypropylene wheels. Albion also provides a wide range of pneumatic and pneumatic-like wheels. The following are some of the wheel styles that work with Albion’s 16 Series Casters.
Polyurethane
Albion offers an expansive range of polyurethane wheels, with various material blends designed to deliver specific features and application benefits. Albion’s polyurethane wheels provide capacities from 300 to 10,900 lbs. along with sizes from 3″ to 18″ diameter and tread width from 1⅜” to 6″. Customization, alternate bearings, and special application options may be available.
The popular 80 Shore A and 95 Shore A durometer wheels are designed and proven for industrial use, with many offerings 3 year warranties.
Nylon
Albion’s nylon wheels offer capacities from 600 to 7,200 lbs. as well as withstanding solvents, caustic/corrosive environments and temperature extremes. Sizes range from 3″ to 10″ diameter with tread widths from 1⅜” to 3″. The nylon wheels are also available in high-temperature and low-noise styles. Customization, special application options and alternate bearings are available.
Rubber
Albion’s rubber tread wheels offer capacities from 125 to 10,190 lbs. along with sizes from 3″ to 25.7″ in diameter and tread widths from 1½” to 12″. Select from mold-on iron or aluminum core, press-on and pneumatic styles.
Polypropylene
Albion’s polypropylene wheels are rated up to 1,000 lbs. with sizes ranging from 3″ to 8″ in diameter and a tread width of 1⅜ to 2″. Customization, special application options and alternate bearings are available.
Metal
Albion’s metal wheels are engineered for loads from 280 to 8,000 lbs. in applications that require greater capacity and better distribution of floor load. Wheel diameters from 3½” to 18″ with a tread width of 1½” to 4″.
Phenolic
Albion’s phenolic resin impregnated wheels are non-marking and ideal for loads from 500 to 8,000 lbs. Sizes range from 4″ to 18″ in diameter with tread widths of 1½” to 6″. Customization, special application options and alternate bearings are available.
