To measure a keyway hole in a caster wheel:

Identify the Keyway Location:
Locate the keyway slot inside the bore of the caster wheel.

Measure Bore Diameter:
Use a caliper to measure the inner diameter of the hole (bore) where the axle or shaft fits.

Measure Keyway Width:
Position the caliper jaws across the keyway slot (side-to-side width).
Ensure the caliper is perpendicular to the slot for an accurate measurement.

Measure Keyway Depth:
Insert the depth probe of the caliper into the keyway.
Measure the distance from the bottom of the slot to the top edge of the bore.

Confirm Dimensions:
Compare the measured dimensions to the standard sizes for the shaft or axle that fits the caster wheel.

Record the Results:
Note the bore diameter, keyway width, and depth for reference.

Use precise tools like digital calipers for accurate measurements.
