Hamilton Cush-N-Aire Casters are widely regarded as the industry’s premier pneumatic-tired casters—trusted for their unmatched quality and proven performance. Each swivel rig is built from S.A.E. 1045 drop-forged steel and features an integrally forged kingpin along with a precision tapered thrust bearing, ensuring smooth swiveling and long-lasting durability.

Designed for superior shock absorption, Cush-N-Aire casters are ideal for transporting sensitive components such as missile parts, electronics, ceramics, and liquids. They also excel in outdoor environments with rough or uneven surfaces. The pneumatic tires offer adjustable flotation—inflate fully for maximum rollability and load capacity, or lower the pressure to enhance cushioning for lighter loads.

Rigid models are engineered to match the swivels in both overall height and mounting template, with plate steel legs welded inside and out to a robust steel mounting plate for added strength.

7000 Series Features & Specs.

  • Swivel Construction
    Drop forged steel mounting plate and horn base. Precision laser cut 1/4″ thick legs on 8″ and 10″ models; 3/8″ thick on 12″, 16″, 21″ and 25″; and 1/2″ thick on 18″ models, welded inside and outside.
  • Kingpin
    Integrally forged with mounting plate, 3/4″ diameter on 8″ and 10″ models; 1″ diameter on 12″-18″ models; and 1 1/4″dia. on 21″ and 25″ models.
  • Main Load Bearing
    Large diameter raceway machined for hardened and polished steel balls.
  • Secondary Load Bearing
    Precision tapered roller bearing capped with grease retainer.
  • Product Finish
    Powder Coated – Caster rigs are powder coated with Hamilton’s Crimson Powder, a metallic HAA Polyester providing a premium look and excellent durability for both interior and exterior environments.
  • Axle
    Bolt and nut type: 1/2″ diameter on 8″ and 10″ roller bearing models; 3/4″ diameter on 10″ tapered bearing models and all 12″ models; 1″ diameter on all 16″ and 18″ models; 1 1/4″ on 21″ and 25″ models.
  • Tires
    8″, 10″ and 12″ sizes are 4-ply rated, 16″ is 6-ply, the extra-rugged 18″ is 8-ply and the super rugged 21″ & 25″ are 10-ply.
