Stem Casters

Stem casters employ a variety of stems to secure a caster to a product. Among the various options, three prevalent stem styles are identified: threaded stem, grip ring stem, and grip neck stem.

As suggested by their name, threaded stems feature a threaded design similar to a bolt and are screwed into a pre-threaded receptacle. Grip ring casters are designed to be inserted into a predrilled hole in the product, where they are secured by a tensioned steel ring located on the stem. Grip neck stems, often referred to as “wood furniture” stems, are similarly held in place by tension within a predrilled hole, frequently aided by wood furniture sockets. Additionally, Hollow Kingpin casters are available; these casters do not possess a stem, allowing users to select their preferred fastening method. Need additional info? Call us!
